I thought that this was an interesting road sign. There were no donkies that I could see in the immediate area but they could have been those "stealth donkies" I have heard so little about.
On my way around the Northern Horn, I found this statue of King Kamehameha I the Great in a town called Hawi. It is like the other statues of him except more colourful.
Near the top of Kohala, there are these grasslands. Although the picture does not show it, the winds were near gale force. The next 3 shots complete the panorama.
I used the zoom feature to get this shot of the Observatory complex on Mauna Kea. If you follow the ridgeline, it's the group of buildings on the right side. There will be more photos of that later.
